MANILA, Philippines - Two players from Southern Leyte and Bataan won the jackpot prize of P299,897,496.00 in the 6/55 Grand Lotto, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the two still unidentified winners beat the 28 million-to-one odds in hitting the combination 25-52-26-05-49-17.
Eighty-one players won the second prize of P150,000 each when they got five of the six-digit winning combination, he added.
Rojas said this is the second biggest jackpot of the Grand Lotto since January when two players from Southern Leyte and Tanay, Rizal split the P300-million jackpot.
