MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot prize of the 6/55 Grand Lotto is expected to hit the P162-million mark after nobody won the winning combination during last Monday’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.
However, Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said that although no player got the six-digit winning combination 09-35-25-16-52-04, which carried the jackpot prize of P151,461,220.40, at least 25 players won the five-digit combination with P150,000 prize.
Rojas said the sales of Grand Lotto also increased from P50 million to P58 million.
This is the fourth time since January that the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto online game has breached the P100-million mark.
