MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday that a lucky player from Cabanatuan City won the more than P136-million jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto online lottery draw last Wednesday night.
PCSO general manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the still unidentified winner paid P140 for the system 7 lucky pick and hit the six-digit winning combination 12-8-45-53-41-55 with a total jackpot of P136,855,753.28.
Aside from the major jackpot, 17 other players from various parts of the country won the P150,000 prize for getting five digits of the winning combination.
Rojas said that sales of lotto tickets increased from P48 million last Monday to P58 million on Wednesday.
