Manila, Philippines – It pays to be patient. A lotto bettor found this out after 17 long years of betting as he won one-half or P6.4 million of the P12,812,947.20 Lotto 6/42 jackpot on May 10.
The winner is a building administrator in Paranaque City. He and his fellow winner, a bettor in Antipolo City, correctly guessed the winning Lotto 6/42 combination 18-24-29-14-28-8 on that day. Officials of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said they have claimed their prizes last week.
The office of PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II said the Paranaque winner is still single but has six children. (Edd K. Usman)
