Housewife wins P15-M Lotto jackpot

Manila, Philippines – A 28-year-old housewife with one child of Antique province is now a millionaire after pocketing Wednesday her P15 million winnings in the August 9 draw of Lotto 6/42.
Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II handed the check to her at the agency’s Main Office in Pasay City, worth P15,136,385.40.
He said the lucky Antique bettor hit the 6/42 jackpot as she matched with her bet the winning combination, 42-14-41-22-25-33.
She started betting on lotto games only a year ago, and on August 9 she had a P30 worth for three bets, which she picked at random, said Rojas. She plans to buy a house and lot, buy a farm land for her father, share with her siblings, and set a business.
