Batangas Resident Strikes Gold with P42 Million Lotto Win
So, apparently, someone in Batangas won the lotto jackpot. They guessed the winning numbers – 06-23-25-29-22-36. Now, I'm not saying it's easier to predict the next Marvel plot twist, but... come on. The odds are about as favorable as finding a needle in a haystack the size of the entire universe.
The jackpot was a whopping P42 million! I didn't even know they had that much money in Batangas. I thought the most significant transaction there was bargaining for a bunch of bananas at the local market.
But here's the kicker – thirty-one other folks got five out of six numbers right. They won P32,000 each. I mean, talk about a consolation prize. "Hey, you didn't win the jackpot, but here's enough money to buy a decent used car. Good luck with the down payment!"
And they draw this Mega Lotto thing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's like the universe saying, "Here's another chance for you to be disappointed. You're welcome."
