MANILA, Philippines - A house helper who only finished Grade 1 won more than P25 million in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Lotto 6/42 draw last September 29.
PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said the 40-year-old house helper from Paete, Laguna was accompanied by her employer in claiming half of the P51,241,667.40 grand prize in the Lotto 6/42 draw last month.
Rojas said the winner wept after claiming the prize at the PCSO office Wednesday.
He said the winner and her husband only finished Grade 1 in school. Both worked as house helpers.
Rojas said the winning numbers - 21-15-10-04-23-09 - were allegedly a combination of the birthdates of the winner, her husband and their children.
