A £1MILLION lottery winner is celebrating again — after his girlfriend scooped more than £57,000.

Debbie Davies kept on playing every week despite Mike Williams’ success a year ago.

And, just like Mike, her numbers came up on a Lucky Dip ticket. Mum-of-two Debbie picked up a cheque for £57,430 for matching five numbers and the bonus ball in last Saturday’s National Lottery draw.

She declared: “I can’t believe our luck. I never imagined both of us could have won in such a short space of time. I was so shocked that I went down to Mike’s house still wearing my pyjamas to tell him I’d won. He just stood there with his mouth wide open — he couldn’t believe it either.”

The pair live near to each other in Ferndale in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales. Debbie, 47, plans to use part of her winnings to pay off debts and renovate her bathroom.

Ex-lorry driver Mike, 46, was in a four-man syndicate that shared a £4million jackpot in April last year.

He has been dating financial controller Debbie since October 2010.

He said: “This is unbelievable. It proves lightning can strike twice. It’s her turn to treat me now.”
