P163-M lotto pot still unclaimed

MANILA, Philippines - The lucky bettor from Sorsogon who won the 6/55 Grand Lotto jackpot of P163.9 million has yet to claim the prize, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO general manager, said the still unidentified winner hit the winning combination 36-26-10-49-32-37, which carried the jackpot prize of P163,921,759.20.

Last Wednesday, a 75-year-old woman from Pasig City claimed the P8,763,173.60 jackpot of the 6/45 Megalotto draw on July 6.

The winner, a retired government employee, got the six-digit winning combination 11-45-44-43-04-20, which represented the birthdays and ages of her three children.

She has been playing the lotto for the last 15 years.

A teacher from Cabanatuan City won last May the P136-million jackpot while a retiree from Southern Leyte and a laborer from Taytay, Rizal shared the P300-million jackpot in the Feb. 23 draw.
