MANILA, Philippines - Sarangani Province Rep. Manny Pacquiao on Saturday urged Filipinos to move on and forget his shocking loss to American boxer Timothy Bradley in their faceoff in Las Vegas last week.
"Kalimutan na natin ang nangyari," Pacquiao said in a radio interview. "God is good all the time."
Pacquiao arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport before 6 a.m. from Los Angeles. He cut short his break with his family after the controversial fight to personally bring aid to his constituents in the flashflood-devastated Sarangani Province.
The Filipino boxing icon, who lost his WBO welterweight belt to Bradley, said he will fly to Sarangani Provinde on Sunday to check on the flood victims.
